  • Do you accept e-tickets on smartphones?

    E-tickets are accepted to enter the experience.

  • Is it possible to book on site ?

    There is no ticket office on site, online booking (or in selected stores) is essential. However you can buy your ticket instantly on your smartphone to enter the experience immediately. Tickets are instantly active.

  • Who can buy children tickets? Is there a special price for elderly or unemployed?

    Children tickets are for children under 14 and they must be with an adult. An ID can be requested. There are no special tickets for elderly or unemployed.

  • - I haven't received my tickets / I have a problem with my booking what should I do?

  • Can I book a ticket if I don't speak French?

    The experience is also available for non-speaking participants. A roadbook will  also be available in English to take part in the experience.

Accessing the Opera

  • What are the opening hours of Inside Opera?

    Inside Opera is open on the weekends and from wednesdays to sundays as of July 11th.
    Opening hours are: 10 am to 5pm with a last session at 3.30pm.

    From July 15th to September 2nd 2018, Inside Opera will be open from wednesday to sunday.
    Opening hours are: 10am to 6pm with a last session at 4.30pm

    It is recommended to arrive 15 minutes before the start and to check the schedule before booking a ticket.                                  

  • What's the closest metro or bus to get there?

    The metro Opéra (Ligne 3, 7 et 8), Chaussée d'Antin (Ligne 7 et 9) or Madeleine (Ligne 8, 12 & 14) and via the RER A (Auber). Buses 20, 21, 22, 27, 29, 42, 52, 66, 68, 81 and 95 are the easiest access to get to the Palais Garnier.

  • Is it possible to park near the Opera ?

    The following car parks are available nearby : Place Vendôme, Meyerbeer, Edouard VII, Haussmann Berri et Haussmann Galeries Lafayette.

  • Does the Palais Garnier have a limited access for persons with reduced mobility?
    People with reduced mobility and a reduced mobility MUST HAVE someone to do the experience with them. Entrance is located 1 rue Auber 75009 Paris

Inside the Opéra

  • Is a cloakroom available?
    The cloakrooms at the Palais Garnier are only accessible on show nights. There won't be any cloakroom available during the experience.
  • Can I come with a large backpack or suitcase?

    Large backpacks and suitcases are forbidden to enter the Palais Garnier,  for security reasons.
    There is no cloakroom or luggage room to leave the bag inside the Palais Garnier and do the experience.
    The Opéra reserves the right to refuse access to Inside Opéra if the bags of participants don't fit the security's requirements.                         

  • Is it recommended for Insiders to bring anything in particular?

    It is advised to come dressed in black for the settings of the experience. It is MANDATORY to bring a pen for the game. All the useful tools to play will be handed when entering the theater.

  • What's the age minimum to do the experience?

    Inside Opera is recommended for children of 8+, with an adult. There aren't any limit of game participants however we do recommend that groups of 8 people or more should split into 2 teams.

  • How long does it last?

    The experience is about 60min long, depending on how used participants are with resolving the puzzles.

  • What happens if I'm running late for my session?

    It is requested to arrive 15 to 30min before the session

  • Is it allowed to take pictures inside

    It is allowed to take pictures for a non-commercial and private use.

  • Is there a place to eat inside the Palais Garnier?

    Many restaurants, cafés and fast-foods are located around the Opera. The Opéra Restaurant is open during the day and offers a specific menu at lunch time. The entrance is Place Jacques Rouché (on the right when facing the Opera).
